Nistam Dream Drop

A bare-metal, visually-driven performance engine and stem mixer.

THE CORE MECHANICS

• Dual Decks & Stem Separation: Isolate or kill Drums, Bass, Vocal, and Other on the fly.
• Precision Transport: 8 hotcue slots, loop bands (1/4 to 16 beats), pitch bending, and strict Quantize/Sync.
• Full Mixer: 3-band EQ, filter knobs, crossfader, pre-gain, and dedicated PFL (Headphone Cue) routing.
• Live Remix Lane: Cuts loaded tracks into structural blocks (intro, drop, break). Click blocks to build a new mix, hit GO to play it, or BOUNCE to save it as a new track.

VISUAL CONSTELLATIONS

• The Lattice: The mix rendered as a ternary automaton. Bass flips cells positive, highs flip them negative, opposites cancel, and sub-bass bleeds as ink.
• Ghost Fire: A cassette-spectrum fire visualization, pulling from the classic Winamp lineage.
• 5D Stars: A reactive star field riding the mix via prism hue, sub-bass glow, and beat warping.
• Stage & Ghost Modes: Pop the visualizer out to a standalone STAGE window for OBS/second monitor capture, or use GHOST for a click-through desktop overlay.

HARDWARE & ROUTING

• Traktor Kontrol S2 MK3: Plug-and-play USB HID support. The S2 pads cycle between Hotcues, Drums (GM kit with Kick on pad 1), and Notes (one octave locked to the playing deck's key).
• MIDI Out: Every pad and keyboard strike speaks Note On to the wire (Drums on Ch 10, Notes on Ch 1).
• Keyboard Instruments: Play the engine using your PC keys (Piano on the home row, Drums on the letter rows).
• Built-In Broadcast: Direct Icecast mounting to push your mix straight to an internet radio host.

THE LIBRARY

• Glyph Filtering: Tracks are mapped visually—Shape = Genre, Colour = Key, Size = BPM, Fill = Energy.
• Camelot Wheel Routing: Instantly filter "Next Up" tracks by harmonic compatibility (same number, one step either way, or relative minor/major).
